Operation Feed the Need

Operation Feed the Need is an ongoing service learning project that every Union Mill student gets the opportunity to participate in each school year. Grade levels take turns collecting donations and assembling packs of food that are distributed to needy children in our area for over the weekend. Each pack contains breakfasts, lunches, dinners, snacks, and drinks. Students learn about the importance of serving their community and those less fortunate than them. They also focus on teamwork when they come together for an assembly as a whole grade level to put hundreds of these packs together.
